I teach classes through the Downtown Art Place in Ironwood, MI. Full class schedules can be found on their website. All classes take place at:

Beginner Wheel Class

Runs for 4 weeks

includes all materials and firing of pots

This class is for adults/teens and is designed for those who have never used a wheel or are working on basic skills. In this class you will learn wedging (clay preparation), centering clay on the wheel, basic throwing of cylinders and bowl forms as well as finishing & glazing. Class sizes are small to ensure plenty of one-on-one instruction.

"Try out the Wheel" Class

Dabble in clay- one evening class

includes all materials and firing of pots

This is a chance to have a go at making a pot on the wheel! It is a one evening class with a demonstration and a chance to try out the wheel.  Students are encouraged to make several pots and pick out their favorites to glaze and keep.  This class is for teens and adults. 

Open Studio

Open studio is offered to those who have some clay experience and would like the opportunity to create on their own. Open studio is a great time to experiment and to find inspiration in a fun and creative environment! I am available during this time to answer questions and offer guidance.
